Vacatoning for Two

This is a special segment we added because of the great importance of vacationing for two. If you plan your vacation right, it will be her dream come true. However, if you don't put any thought into planning the vacation, it could be a complete disaster, and your new dream will be to teleport home. Girls are mysterious beings and they are often very sensitive to things that us men never think about. Often times it's the little things that keep a relationship alive. Things like, remembering things about her, unexpected flowers, thoughtfulness, and yes, chivalry is still alive and well. This all leads up to the point of planning the perfect vacation. Don't leave your vacation up to chance. Yes, a lot of girls like spontaneity and just up and going somewhere, and that works for small trips. However, if your planning a week vacation in paradise, you better have planned very carefully. There are an uncountable number of things you must consider when planning the dream vacation. Here is a list of things to consider and why:

Where to go:

1.) Take her to a romantic place such as Cozumel, Mexico. This is a great place to take a woman and it won't bankrupt you like a trip to Italy would.

2.) Make sure that you are going in the right season. For instance going to Mexico in August is horrible, you would most likely have a miserable trip because it rains everyday and the heat/humidity is unbearable.

3.) Make sure that the location offers an array of activities and events.

Hotels:

1.) Make sure you see the hotel and room before you book a trip. Check several websites for the star rating. Never trust one website for an evaluation.

2.) Get a hotel room with something special about it, such as a Jacuzzi, ocean view, or a theme. You would be surprised how many hotels have theme rooms now. They really bring out the romance.

3.) Make sure that your hotel is close to the action for the majority of your planned events. This will save you a lot of travel time and taxi fare, if that's the route you're going.

Activities:

1.) Horseback Riding - Girls tend to love animals so an adventure tour on horseback is a great time.

2.) Sailing - Rent a small sailboat and bring a cooler with some wine and food. Also, many locations near the ocean offer sailing dinners that are very romantic. However, these are a bit pricey.

3.) Shopping - as sad as this is, girls love it, so you should make a day of it and buy her something nice.

4.) Biking - Rent some mountain bikes and take off for the day. If you do this make sure you plan a destination. There is nothing worse than aimlessly peddling around. Plan a spot to picnic or a remote restaurant to eat at.

5.) Parasailing - This is great to go tandem, and its cheap.

6.) Sky Diving/ Bungee Jumping - If you have an adventurous girl, she will be up for the challenge. It's been proven time and again that dramatic events emotionally bond people together. Bungee jumping off a bridge is an adrenaline filled event and one that will definitely bring you closer together. If you bungee jump, go tandem, more great physical contact.

Romance:

1.) Girls love unexpected flowers. One morning before she wakes up, go down to the hotel gift store. Most of the ones I've seen sell flowers. Then put them on your pillow for her to see when she wakes up. If that doesn't make her day, nothing will.

2.) Plan a night in, bring massage oils and soap for a bubble bath. Make sure you have some good music and even candles are a turn on for girls. Spend the night spoiling her and don't forget the champaigne. If you pull this off successfully, she will never forget you.

3.) Fine dining is a must. Find a good restaurant to dine her at. There are many restaurant guides online. Try and find a restaurant with an ocean view and an open balcony. Seafood restaurants are a good place to look. This is where you drop a lot of cash but you have to do it.

4.) The classic picnic. Plan ahead and find a romantic spot to have a picnic. Good places are usually remote, such as a waterfall, nature preserve, mountaintop, or a scenic beach location. Plan a unique way to get there such as renting a jeep, boat, wave runner, or motorcycle.

5.) The little things. Opening doors, pulling out the chair, complementing (Not too much or it will lose it's effect), hand holding, listening and remembering what she says. Girls love when you remind them of things they mentioned earlier. It shows them that you do care about what they have to say. This is the downfall of many men, and it's harder to do than it may seem.

6.) Public affection. Most women love it. It makes them feel like your proud to be with them and your not embarrassed by them. Careful with this one because girls ether love it or hate it, and never overdo it.
