Movies that display the Do's and Dont's

The following list will give examples of movies that have scenes to learn from, both good and bad.

1) Top Gun- Do's: when Tom sings "You lost that loving feeling", very cool, very fun!

2) Swingers- this is a classic, a lot of Do's and Dont's in this flick. This movie covers most of the bases. Watch the whole thing, you'll see what I mean. This movie will get most of your emotions going, I don't want to ruin it, but there will be times that you want to kill John! Vince will make the story complete. He's another great icon to mold from.

3) As Good as it Gets- Jack is awesome in this. Do's: End of the movie when they are walking to the bakery and he kisses Helen Hunt, and when he pays Helen her compliment at the seafood restaurant. Don'ts: the end of the seafood restaurant scene, this is why it is important to be ready for anything, Jack could have had her!

4) Braveheart- this is a great example of a man that made something of himself. He has limited contact with women in this movie sotake it in.

5) Misery- filled with Dont's. Notice how he is admired for his creativity. That's about all you'll get from this as far as notes go.

6) American Pie- make note of stiffler, he's fun and confident, take notes. Same notes for American Pie 2.

7) Saving Silverman- Don'ts galore!

8) All Adam Sandler Movies- he may not come across confident, but the fact that he's fun carries him.

9) High Fidelity- this movie will put everthing in perspective. Great training tool!

10) Office Space- everything before hypnosis is a Dont, everything after hypnosis is a Do. Funny movie, especially on the second watch.

11) South Park- Eric Cartman is king, funny stuff. If you haven't seen any of their stuff, get out there. They make fun of everyone, and there are some nice political angles included every now and then.

12) Boiler Room- a good movie to gauge icons and human interaction. Watch it, there are some good messages in it.

13) Spies Like Us- old one. I like Chevy Chase, he is another person that mirrors a lot of the techniques found here. He uses fun as the basis of his approach with women. A good example of this is in Fletch as well. Watch all the faces of his character.

14) Captain Ron- funny movie. Kurt Russell is another character that is extremely likable and charasmatic.

15) We Were Soldiers- Mel plays a great leader of men in this film. He doesn't demand your respect, but he gains it very quickly. This is a hard quality to pick up, it takes a great knowledge of life as a whole to master. A boss is someone that reminds you of their position (usually often), a leader takes charge and wins hearts and minds.

16) A Few Good Men- Tom is fun and intelligent in this role, definately a role a person could model himself after.

17) Full Metal Jacket- this is a good movie to watch. It's a great picture with a heavy concentration on life changes and the road that is envolved.

18) Windtalkers- great USMC flick. Nick is a lost and desperate soul in this one. This movie gives some great examples of comradery and of the human spirit. Not to mention some great special effects (that were a little over done).

19) The Shawshank Redemption- great movie about human triumph, a must see! If you want to know what kind of attitude it takes to be on top, here it is! Masterful performance...

20) The 25th Hour- equal to Shawshank on many planes. Want to feel good about your life? Give this a go.

21) Alive- this movie is another must see. Their journey on the screen is very similar to the one your making now. You have decided to save yourself and it is a powerful force, once tapped.

22) Sniper- this is a good example of the life of a man with no depth. Don't get me wrong, I love this movie, but Tom needs a life.

23) Shallow Hal- notice that the good looking neighbor starts to gain interest after she thinks Hal has depth. Once they know that you're after more than their looks and sex, they become a lot more friendly.

24) Old School- Vince is the man again in this flick. We lean towards the Vince approach, the rest are sad at best. Fun movie, a lot of good stuff, great ideas for fun and exciting adventures.

25) A Beautiful Mind- Russell gives the super intelligent hope here. There are a lot of women that are attracted to this side. His complexity also plays a role, great movie and a true story to boot.

26) Matrix- Reeves is only getting a girl in this flick because of his drive and purpose. Doesn't hurt to be the lead actor either...

27) Hackers- good movie overall. This movie illustrates the importance of common interests. That's where real connections are made.

28) The Real Cancun- this one is painful to watch at times. There are some great do's and don'ts. I'm confident you'll see the differences (who had results?).

29) Vertical Limit- this movie will teach you to trust what you know and to not succomb to peer pressures!

30) Family Man- great movie on how fun can be the corner stone in a great relationship.
